Property Description:
Located in Beatty, Nevada at
the gateway of Death Valley National Park, the El Portal Motel is a
family-style 25 unit motel. All rooms include a telephone, air
conditioning, cable television, a private bathroom with shower and
bathtub facilities. High speed Internet is available, and the kids
will love the swimming pool which is open May to October every year.
Of the 25 rooms, nineteen are modern and spacious with one or two queen
size beds. The other six are from another time. They were built in the
forties when auto courts were the newest accommodations for the weary
traveler. They retain the flavor of that period and are very much a part
of Beatty's history. They have standard double beds. Smoke-free rooms
are available but are snapped up quickly. All rooms are carpeted, roomy,
and comfortable. Gift and antique shops, restaurants, a steak
house, a bakery, an old-fashioned ice cream parlor, and gaming are all
within walking distance of the motel. Nightly Rates:
$35 for one person, $45 for two people, $55 for three people, etc.
Deposit & Cancellation Policies: A major credit card
is required to guarantee your reservation, and you will pay for the room
upon arrival. The
cancellation policy is at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled arrival
date in order to avoid being charged for the room.
