This is the Gage experience. Located in Marathon Texas, this fully
renovated hotel offers: elegant accommodations furnished with authentic
period decor, fine dining that will delight your senses and a pool
perfect for an evening swim - all in a rustic, West Texas setting,
surrounded by the mountains of Big Bend National Park.
Original 2 story structure of the hotel. Our rooms are very unique although small in size due to when the hotel was build they were used strictly for sleeping. We offer rooms both with a private bath or bath down the hall. Our rooms are located both upstairs and downstairs with no elevator. Don’t be afraid of the bathroom down the hall we offer both a men’s and a woman’s bathroom, both upstairs and down, every room has its own basin. You can come right down the stairs and enjoy our Texas sized rocking chairs while you enjoy the peace and quite of Marathon and viewing the amazing star filled nights.

Every room has its own front porch covered area, where you can site and forget about everything else in the world. Ten of our 20 rooms in this area offer kiva style fireplaces.
