Helicopter Tour in Glacier National ParkSee Glacier National Park as few ever do - go on a helicopter tour! You'll see miles and miles of wild, rugged, scenic wilderness in one of America's most beautiful national parks.  The flight is a breathtaking view over a million acre geologic park, of which only a fraction of its awesome terrain and beauty may be seen by road and trail. Our helicopter tours are a special opportunity for elderly and handicapped tourists, who are not physically able to hike the trails. So very little of the Park is actually seen from the road. Children of all ages are welcome to enjoy this experience.

We offer one hour tours and half hour tours. Please note that Glacier National Park helicopter tours are offered only during the summer season from June 10th through September.

Half Hour Tour

On our half hour tour, we will see five active glaciers in Glacier National Park, including Harrison Glacier, Pumpbelly Glacier, Blackfoot Glacier, Jackson Glacier, & Sperry Glacier. We will begin our journey flying over West Glacier passing over the Middle Fork of the Flathead River. Jim will name lakes rarely seen by the Glacier Park tourist as our flight passed above some of the 9,000 ft. and higher peaks of Glacier Park. We will see waterfalls most travelers to this area never knew existed, including Beaver Chief Falls, cascading over 1,500 ft. from Lake Ellen Wilson into Lincoln Lake in the Western portion of the park.

Full Hour Tour

We will expand the sights we see on the full hour journey to include an additional 13 active glaciers, including Grinnell, Salamander, Ahern, Old Sun, Ipasha, & Weasel Collar, as well as many others whose names are known to only the best of pilots, such as Jim, as we fly directly over the continental divide. Jim will explain what significance the continental divide has on your particular region of the country, if you live in the United States. We will also pass over the Canadian Border, and view up the spectacular Waterton National Park, Alberta. We will fly over Iceberg Lake, which was named from the many icebergs which float on the surface of the water. We will fly 2,000 ft. above the lake, allowing wonderful photo opportunities.
