8 Mile Whitewater
Sands' Wild Water River Trips take you through 8
miles of whitewater in the Grand Canyon of the Snake
River. Combining spectacular scenery with the excitement
of rolling rapids, this trip has all the ingredients for
the perfect river adventure. The small 8-man paddle
rafts are available on the whitewater section starting
in June.
- Allow 3 1/2 hours. U-Paddle Boats.
- This trip leaves every hour from 8:00 am to 5:00
pm.

Mile Breakfast Scenic/Whitewater Combo
OUR MOST POPULAR TRIP!
After 8 miles of majestic mountain scenery you've earned a
hot breakfast at our renowned Pine Bar campsite. Our cook
prepares a delicious meal guaranteed to satisfy even the
heartiest appetite. We then wash it down with 8 miles of white
water thrills. Our combination trip does not have bus transfers
between your scenic and whitewater adventure. We offer
continuous rafting without wasting time on the bus!
- Available June 15 - Aug 31
- 7 am Early morning departure. U-Paddle rafts.

Trips-Scenic/Whitewater Combo:
Have you considered spending the night on the river? Our
Combination Overnight trip will be the highlight of your
vacation memories. The trip provides you with a scenic float,
an exciting white water ride, a steak dinner, a full breakfast
and a night you won't soon forget, sitting by the campfire next
to the river. (Permanent tents, cots, sleeping bags, pillows
and fresh sheets are all provided.)
- Trips leave late afternoon and return to Jackson midday
the following day.
- U-Paddle rafts.

Season Combo Special
When the snow runoff is high in May and June we offer our
Early Season High Water Special. This trip consists of an 8-mile
stretch of beautifully scenic Snake River, a stop a deli lunch
at our riverside Pine Bar campsite and then continuing on to
raft the thrilling 8-mile whitewater section. Our combination
trip does not have bus transfers between your scenic and
whitewater adventure. We offer continuous rafting without
wasting time on the bus!
- 2 River trips and lunch for only $90.00 per adult &
$80.00 per child (ages 12 and under)
- U-Paddle Rafts. Allow 6 hours.
- 11:30 am daily departure. Available June 1st - 14th only.
