Dedicated to John Muir
The John Muir Lodge pays tribute to the noted author and naturalist, who sought to preserve the giant sequoias and other natural treasures of Sequoia and Kings Canyon by advocating the creation of "one grand national park."  The beautiful lobby of the lodge features a painting of John Muir, along with photographs of the breathtaking backcountry of the Sequoia and Kings Canyon area which he fought to protect. An antique redwood mantle from Sequoia National Park's historic Giant Forest is the focal point of the handsome stone fireplace.  The Lobby has an extensive collection of books, games and puzzles for our guests to enjoy.  Free Wi-Fi is currently available in and around the Restaurant / Registration area.

Standard Rooms
These attractive and comfortable guestrooms have two queen beds or a king bed with a sofa bed, a private bath, dressing area, table and chairs, telephone and an in-room coffeemaker. All of the Lodge rooms enjoy a forest view, and all guests have access to the lobby and the view-balconies, which feature outdoor seating.  The photo at the upper right is an actual photo of the entrance to the John Muir Lodge.   The Lodge Registration is located between the Restaurant and the Gift shop keeping the lobby of the lodge peaceful and relaxing.
