Ninety-two rooms located throughout the property offer guests the opportunity to choose from a range of different styles—from the cowboy chic of the Cavalry Post to the elegance of the new Boardwalk Suites. Each room is complete with a plush robe and slippers, coffee maker, satellite television, a refrigerator, and lavish Agave amenities—created specially for Lajitas. Lajitas, The Ultimate Hideout is a 25,000-acre private estate nestled between Big Bend National Park and Big Bend State Park. A mixed-use development, the property includes a 92-room resort, private club, and real estate division. Among the outstanding amenities at The Ultimate Hideout are the Ambush Golf Course, Agavita Spa, Hunt Club and Lodge, Equestrian Center, Red Rock Outfitters, outdoor swimming pool, and several restaurants including the gourmet Ocotillo.

Badlands Hotel

Revisit the Old West at the Badlands Hotel situated above the Lajitas Boardwalk. Cowboy bordello interiors are elegant reminders of cowboy-days past. The 15 delightful rooms within this historic façade don iron beds, red velvet comforters, and Mexican-tile bathrooms, while views from the second-story rooms reach far and wide.

Boardwalk Suites

The Boardwalk Suites are the largest luxury suites available at Lajitas. Built in 2005, these suites offer an additional 10 two-bedroom suites or 20 one-bedroom suites, for a total of 92 guest rooms at Lajitas. These fabulous suites feature charming Southwestern décor; are complete with a living room, kitchen, and patio or balcony; and are conveniently located across from the hotel lobby and Boardwalk shops.

Calvary Post

Twenty-six rooms united by a tranquil, reflecting pool at the Cavalry Post afford some of the most luxurious accommodations at Lajitas. Each room boasts a unique decor ranging from cowboy chic with cowhide rugs and rough-hewn saddles to victorian with softer accoutrements and clawfoot tubs. Situated on the site where General John J. “BlackJack” Pershing’s cavalry post was built at the turn of the 20th century, our updated post maintains the spirit with the amenities of the present. Tucked behind the Cavalry Post are two intimate cottages with kitchenettes and private patios--made for a romantic weekend or honeymoon.

La Cuesta

Adjacent to the swimming pool, La Cuesta’s 12 guestrooms are flanked by a lovely courtyard. Six of the La Cuesta guestrooms are one-bedroom suites with decor inspired by characters of Big Bend past and present including El Vaquero or the Cowboy Suite, El Cazadero or the Hunter Suite and many others. Ideal for family accommodations, several of the rooms may be made to adjoin a standard room with a double queen.

Officer's Quarters

The Ultimate Hideout’s premier accommodations, the Officers' Quarters overlook the magnificent Ambush Golf Course and rest just steps away from the Agavita Spa. These 16 junior suites offer patios or balconies and French doors from which to enjoy the breathtaking beauty of the Big Bend as well as a beautiful courtyard. Inside relax in the comfort of the living area or the elegantly rustic bedroom with an artistically tiled bathroom.

Nightly Rates: $195 to $825

Note: Rates do not include occupancy tax. To better serve guests a resort fee has automatically been included which covers all resort activities and gratuities exclusive of food and beverage and spa attendants.

Rates are per room, per night based on double occupancy.

Deposit/Cancellation Policies: A major credit card is required to guarantee your reservation, and you will pay for the room upon arrival. All reservations must be canceled by 4:00 PM at least 2 days prior to arrival date, in order to avoid a no show charge equal to 1 night's room rate, and applicable taxes.
