Property Description: At the Lodge, on the shore of beautiful Lake Quinault, you’ll find outstanding dining and an abundance of activities…from lawn games like horseshoes, to relaxing in our heated pool or dry sauna, to billiards and board games. Take in the scenery from the lakeside gazebo. Paddle the lake in a canoe or kayak. Learn secrets of the rainforest on a guided interpretive hike, or make your own discoveries on nearby nature trails and loop hikes. Enjoy biking, outstanding fishing, and exploring. See (and photograph) the world’s largest Sitka spruce.

In the Roosevelt Dining Room at Lake Quinault Lodge, guests enjoy outstanding cuisine as well as panoramic views of the Lake and the mountains beyond. Breakfast includes delicious omelets and all your favorite morning fare. For lunch, enjoy juicy burgers, sandwiches and wonderful clam chowder. Dinner guests can choose from delicious regional specialties including cedar plank salmon, a traditional favorite, and halibut as well as satisfying steaks and pasta dishes. Be sure to try our microbrew beers and our decadent desserts too.

In the Roosevelt Dining Room, a lunch took place in the fall of 1937 that altered area history. On October 1, 1937, President Franklin D. Roosevelt visited Lake Quinault Lodge during a fact-finding trip. During his visit, the topic of establishing a park came up over lunch. Nine months later, Roosevelt signed a bill creating Olympic National Park, which to this day remains a treasure countless visitors have enjoyed.

Main Lodge Room in Lake Quinault LodgeMain  Lodge Rooms:  When you stay in our Main Lodge, built in 1926, you’ll get a real sense of our history. These cozy rooms have a wonderful antique ambiance and give you easy access to the Lodge’s many amenities…from the indoor pool to the Roosevelt dining room. Enjoy a warm drink by the fireplace. Browse the gift shop at your leisure. Main Lodge Non-View rooms offer a queen size or two double beds and either a tub/shower combination, a walk-in shower or a claw foot tub. Non-smoking only. Main Lodge View rooms feature a queen size and a view of scenic Lake Quinault. These rooms also feature a tub/shower combination, a walk-in shower or an antique claw foot tub. Non-smoking only.  In general, these are the least expensive rooms at the Lake Quinault Lodge.

Fireplace Suite in Lake Quinault LodgeFireplace Rooms:  Treat yourself to the finest…a beautiful, comfortable fireplace room. Enjoy the same feel of the historic Lodge, plus a lovely, gas-lit fireplace and your own private lake view.  Rooms include a queen size bed, a queen size sofa sleeper, a gas fireplace, and a private balcony or patio. Rollaway beds and adjoining rooms are available.

Lakeside Room in Lake Quinault LodgeLakeside Rooms:  Enjoy a more contemporary feel in our lakeside unit, a large three-story building with approximately 36 rooms. These spacious rooms are perfect for families, and are the only rooms offering TVs. The “tree house room,” named by younger guests, offers a partial lake view, due to a stand of trees. Keep watch for squirrels, chipmunks and Steller’s Jays outside.  Family-friendly features include a TV/VCR combo available in each room, and your choice of a king or two double beds. Handicap rooms offer a queen bed. All rooms have queen size sofa sleepers and a private bathroom with tub/shower combo. A partial lake view exists with a balcony or patio. Ground floor handicap rooms have easy access bars in the bathrooms. Non-smoking only.

Boathouse Room at Lake Quinault Lodge, Olympic National ParkBoathouse Rooms:  The boathouse, also known as the Annex, was built in 1923 and features eight rooms with an encircling verandah. A great choice for families, pets are welcome in these rooms. (Please bring a six-foot leash to explore the trails in Olympic National Forest with a pet.)  Boathouse Non-View rooms offer a variety of bed arrangements, with an average of two to three beds plus a futon per room. Private bathroom. Non-smoking only.  Boathouse Lake View rooms offer a view of Lake Quinault. They also feature a variety of bed arrangements, with two to three beds and a futon per room. Private bathroom. Non-smoking only.  Beverly Suite is our only traditional suite and fills the entire top floor of the Boathouse. In this spacious treetop escape you’ll enjoy a full circle view, from the forest to the Main Lodge to the lake. Amenities include a table and chairs, a sofa, counter and sink, a beverage refrigerator and a place to plug in a hot plate. The bedroom overlooking the lake and trees has a queen size bed. The private bathroom has a walk in shower. Non-smoking.

Rates:  $156 to $309 Per Night.

* All rates are based on single or double occupancy.  Children under age twelve are free.  Each additional person is an extra $15.  Pets (Boathouse Only) are an additional $25 per pet/per night.

Deposit & Cancellation Policies:  A deposit on all reservations equal to one night's room rate plus tax is required at the time of making a reservation. Deposit applies to length of stay. Cancellations must be made at least 72 hours prior to 4:00 p.m. on the scheduled date of arrival in order to receive a refund of the advance deposit less a $25 cancellation fee.
