Yellowstone National Park Horseback Riding

Reserve Your Yellowstone National Park Horseback Ride

Plan the perfect family vacation by letting us take you on a day ride through some of the most pristine wilderness on the planet. We do a variety of day trips into Yellowstone's backcountry, ranging from four to eight hours. We take you to some of our favorite places in the northern part of Yellowstone.  Explore Yellowstone National Park as did the cowboys of the old west - by horseback!

A Yellowstone horseback ride offers an excellent opportunity to see the park from a unique perspective and enjoy sights that many visitors never get to see.  Enjoy the abundant wildlife, wildflowers, pristine wilderness, crystal clear mountain lakes and streams, and the rejuvenating  experience of visiting the backcountry of Yellowstone National Park.  Please note that the maximum weight limit is 250 pounds per rider.

Half Day Rides:  This is the most economical choice. For this ride we choose a location in the northwest corner of the park. It is spectacular. We take you horseback riding across Swan Lake Flats and up through the Hoodoos. It can be a great trip for viewing wildlife and is sure to create some unforgettable memories.

The cost is $110 per person.

Full Day Rides:  This is the most bang for your buck where horseback riding day rides are concerned. On these rides, we provide you with lunch and take you to some of our favorite places on Yellowstone's northern range. This ride is the perfect addition to a family vacation in Yellowstone. We work with you to ensure that you have a chance to see the things that you want to see, and when it's over we point you toward all the best places in the park.

The cost is $165 per person.

Full Day Rides to the Southern Region of the Park:  This horseback riding trip is exactly the same as the one listed above except that it is a little more expensive because we have to haul our stock very long distances. This trip is for those individuals who want to visit something in particular in the southern region of the park.

The cost is $250 per person.

Deposit/Cancellation Policies: For all rides inside the park, a non-refundable deposit of 50% is required with the remaining balance due upon arrival. The cancellation policy is at least 7 days prior to the ride date in order to avoid being charged the remaining balance.

Overnight Pack Trips in the Absaroka-Beartooth Wilderness:  Experience the Yellowstone adventure of a lifetime - go on an overnight pack trip into the pristine Absaroka-Beartooth Wilderness at the north end of Yellowstone National Park!  We offer trips from 2 to 7 nights in this pristine and secluded wilderness.  The trip includes friendly and experienced guides, all your meals, experienced mountain horses, spacious and comfortable wall tents, and memories of a lifetime.  You only need to bring a camera, your clothes, and personal items.  You will see some of the world's most scenic and pristine wilderness, enjoy opportunities to fish some of America's finest blue ribbon trout streams, view wildflowers and natural plant life, photograph wildlife, gaze at the incredible star-glittered night sky, and enjoy the peace and serenity of life in the wilderness.

Rates: $250 per person per day.

Deposit/Cancellation Policies: For overnight wilderness pack trips, an advance deposit of 50% of the full amount of the pack trip is required at the time of making a reservation with the remaining balance due upon arrival.  The pack trip deposit and final payment are non-refundable.
